Common Computer Center

  • Fully air-conditioned state-of-the-art computer lab, all modern operating systems with a full-fledged multimedia facility
  • High-speed Internet facility for staff and students to meet their academic and research requirements. The
college is equipped with Wi-Fi.
  • The Computing facility has around 400 computers. Central Computer Center is powered by 70 PC’s
  • The programming lab (I & II) is equipped with 60 PC’s, the data structure lab has 30 PC’s.
  • Two new labs were added recently – Project Lab & Software Development Lab. The project lab is equipped with 50 PCs powered with second-generation Core HCL 260s.
  • All labs are equipped with 4 Online UPS (10 KVA Each). The server room is powered with 2 high-end servers (HCL) and medium-range HCL servers, loaded with Red Hat Linux, and equipped with 10 KVA Online UPS with remote monitoring.

Cafeteria Facility

The cafeteria at our institution ensures hygienic and nutritious food for students and staff at affordable prices. Catering to students from distant places, it supports active participation in academic activities. With multiple food counters and a convenient coupon system, it offers a variety of choices. Prices are fixed by the college and are budget-friendly, with food quality regularly monitored.

Gyan Sagar College of Engineering provides comfortable and secure on-campus hostel facilities for boys and girls, ensuring a smooth transition for students moving away from home. Each hostel, managed by wardens, features well-designed rooms with ample light and ventilation. Hygienic and nutritious meals are served three times daily in dedicated mess facilities. The college enhances hostel life through organized events, activities, sports, and cultural clubs. Personalized counseling services are also available to support students’ well-being and growth.

Hostel Mess

Hostel Mess is run by the Management through private contractor under the guidance of the Principal and Administrative officer. Vegetarian food is served in the hostel. Mess charges are collected on an annual basis at the time of admission. Parents and guests are allowed to consume food by paying for them.

Rules and Regulations

Students must occupy the rooms allotted to them by the Warden (Principal).
Students should refrain from anti-social and undesirable activities such as consumption of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, ragging etc.
Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their rooms.
No student will be allowed to leave the hostel based on a phone call.
Parents are requested to give a list of authorized visitors/local guardians. Visitors not mentioned in the list will not be permitted to visit the students in the hostel.
Students will be permitted to go home only if the college is closed continuously for five days or more.
Any student wishing to attend a function in the house, marriage or any other ceremony will be permitted to go only if the request is made by the parents to the Principal.
Visitors are allowed on holidays from 11.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.

Transport

A full-fledged Transport system functions in the college with buses to provide transportation facilities to students and staff from various places. This service is offered to ensure a hassle ­ free and safe transportation.
The College runs 15 buses to provide transport facilities to students from various places in the city. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.
