Establishment & Vision

The National Cadet Corps (NCC) unit at Gyan Sagar College of Engineering was established in 2023, marking a significant step in the college's commitment to holistic education. Aimed at fostering discipline, leadership, and a spirit of service among students, the NCC unit has rapidly become one of the most active and dynamic organizations on campus.

Affiliated with the 11 MP Battalion NCC, our unit operates under the directives of the Directorate General of NCC, Ministry of Defence, Government of India. It plays a vital role in channelizing youth energy towards constructive nation-building.

Lt. R.K. Rajak

Assistant Professor, Mechanical Engineering & Associated NCC Officer (ANO)

Lt. Rajak is a symbol of leadership and commitment. As an academician, he inspires students with his technical expertise and practical approach to teaching. His role in the NCC exemplifies his passion for instilling values of patriotism, social responsibility, and discipline in today's youth.

He successfully completed the 90-day Pre-Commission Training Course at Officers Training Academy (OTA), Kamptee, Nagpur, earning his NCC commission with distinction—an achievement that reflects both personal excellence and institutional pride.

Certificate Training Programs

The NCC unit at GSCE offers rigorous training programs designed to prepare cadets for excellence:

'B' Certificate
2 Years Training
'C' Certificate
3 Years Training

Training Includes:

Drill and Weapon Handling
Map Reading and Field Craft
Leadership & Personality Development
CATC (Combined Annual Training Camp)
TSC (Thal Sainik Camp)
RDC (Republic Day Camp)

'B' Certificate provides preference in recruitment for police, paramilitary forces, and various civil services. 'C' Certificate is the highest level and holds significant value for those aspiring to join the armed forces.
