About Library

The college has a spacious and well furnished library with a reading room capacity for 150 students at a time. The library has a rich collection of 8500 books covering all disciplines of Engineering and Technology,  Science, Humanities & Management.

Issue Timings: 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on all working days. College library is maintaining a separate internet browsing center with Wi -Max connectivity.

Periodical Section

The library has separate periodicals section and subscribes 53 journals of which 49 National and 04 International journals. The library regularly receives journals and new sletters from reputed organizations and societies.

Reference Section

The reference section of the library has rich collection of International editions of reference books, handbooks, conference proceedings, encyclopedia sand various reference documents.

Digital Library

Digital Library provides online resources for students interested in Computer Assisted Learning.The Library uses e-Granthalaya over 3.0 software package, an integrated multi-user library management system that supports all in ­ house operations of Library. The e-Granthalaya consists of modules on acquisition, cataloguing, circulation, serials, and OPAC. More than 4000 bibliographic records of books available in the Library can be accessed through the e­Granthalaya OPAC.The database of books available in the Library is being updated on day to day basis with details of recently acquired books.

General Instructions :

  • The library is primarily intended for the use of students, faculty members and staff of this college.
  • Library users shall sign in the register before entering.
  • Strict silence must be maintained in the library.
  • Personal belongings are not allowed inside stack room, reference section and digital library.
  • Books will be issued only on production of borrower card. Cards are not transferable. Books will be issued only to the cardholder and not through anybody else.
  • Students are not permitted to sit in the library during their lecture and practical hours.
  • No bags, umbrellas, parcel, etc. except files and books may be brought into the Library. Adequate storage facilities have been provided at the entrance to the Library.
  • On leaving the Library, all users are required to produce for inspection all books and items taken out of the Library for inspection.
  • Reservation of seats is not permitted. Books and other articles left for any length of time on chairs and tables may be removed by the library staff.
  • The Library staff has the right to request a user to leave the premises if he is found to be violating any of the Library rules.
  • Official time for determining fines on overdue books and for other purposes will be read according to the time determined in the computer system at the Circulation Counter.
  • The Library will not accept responsibility for the loss or misplacement of personal belongings.

E-LIBRARY Section

  • E-LIBRARY Section of the library has facilities to view video programmes.
  • NPTEL facility- a web oriented  courseware,  video lectures developed by various NT’s in India  is available in the Library.
  • Membership of DELNETE-library facility (JNU, Delhi)
