  1. Android Development Lab:: The goal of this lab is to learn the fundamentals of developing Android Applications, from project creation to installation on a physical device. More specifically you should gain the knowledge of how to use basic development tools to support the application development process, as well as the key components of an Android application itself.
  2. Big Data/Data Analytics Lab:The purpose of the Big Data Computing Lab is to educate students in all aspects of large and distributed information systems (e.g. system development, testing, maintenance, data integration, networking, and application development) and, thus prepare them for highly emerging technologies in fast-growing IT industries such as Big Data computing, Health-care informatics, Data integration and Data analytics. The research in the lab mainly focuses on next-generation data management and mining issues on Big Data with special attention to heterogeneous information networks and social computing.
  3. Internet of Things (IoT): : This Lab focuses on hands-on IoT concepts such as sensing, actuation and communication. It covers the Hands on Experience with Raspberrypi and development of Internet of Things (IoT) prototypes including devices for sensing, actuation, processing, and communication to help you develop skills and experiences.
  4. AI/Machine Learning: Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technologies are emerging as promising solutions, which have the potential to improve customer experience and in-house process automation in banks and financial institutions. In view of the growing success-rate of research and development of AI and ML based tools and technologies, the AI & ML Lab is set up to conduct applied research in the emerging areas of artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies with a specific focus on the Banking and Financial domain.
  5. Apple/iOSLab iOS App development is a new dimension in mobile apps development. iOS is the second most popular mobile operating system platform in the world, after Android. The Apple iOS Center of Excellence (CoE) shares a vision to build native applications for iPhone and iPad in the field of mobile app development, bridging the gap between academia and industry.
This lab is intended for individuals interested in the design, development, or use of mobile device applications, games, or utilities. The program will benefit those who wish to distinguish themselves across a wide range of employment and technical disciplines within the rapidly expanding field of mobile application development.
  6. Research & Development Lab: The primary objective of the R&D and project lab is to facilitate and support development of projects, products or techniques/technology aimed at specific end use. The R & D and project lab stresses on clearly identifying the needs for the progress of the technology so that the growth-specific efforts could be useful for the overall development of students. It imagines active student involvement and connotation in the development effort. The purpose is that the products and technologies developed under the project by the students become useful for the benefit of the people at large. The lab will be helpful to inculcate research-based skills in the students.
  7. Software Engineering Lab:: This lab deals with the analysis and design of a software problem .the tool used in a lab is rational rose .This tool is used for an object oriented design of a problem. We draw a UML diagram in a rational rose which deals with the objects and classes in a system .The Unified Modeling Language or UML is a mostly graphical modelling language that is used to express designs. It is a standardized language in which to specify the arte facts and components of a software system.
  8. Computer Graphics and Multimedia:Graphics and Multimedia-now a days probably the most talked about technology in the field of computer. This technology is largely adopted by most computer based applications to bridge the gap between a human user & the computer. By this, multiple media are implemented and used in computer based applications to enhance their understanding ability before a common man. This multiple media includes, text, sound, video, graphics animation etc. This paper will expose the students to the various concepts of these media and their implementation in computer based applications. This will also expose the students to various multimedia implementation techniques like data compression, & various multimedia standards.
  9. Data Base Management System: A Database Management System (DBMS) is a software package with computer programs that controls the creation, maintenance, and use of a database. It allows organizations to conveniently develop databases for various applications. A database is an integrated collection of data records, files, and other objects. A DBMS allows different user application programs to concurrently access the same database. DBMSs may use a variety of database models, such as the relational model or object model, to conveniently describe and support applications.
  10. Computer Networks Lab: This Lab provides students with hands-on training regarding the design, troubleshooting, modeling and evaluation of computer networks. In this course, students are going to experiment in a real test-bed networking environment, and learn about network design and troubleshooting topics and tools such as: network addressing, Address Resolution Protocol (ARP), basic troubleshooting tools (e.g. ping, ICMP), IP routing (e,g, RIP), route discovery (e.g. trace route), TCP and UDP, IP fragmentation and many others. Student will also be introduced to the network modeling and simulation, and they will have the opportunity to build some simple networking models using the tool and perform simulations that will help then evaluate their design approaches and expected network performance.
  11. Data Structures Lab: Data structure is structuring and organizing data in an efficient manner so that it can be accessed and modified easily. It determines the logical linkages between data elements and affects the physical processing of data. All software programs use data structures of some kind.
Data structures knowledge is required of people who design and develop systems software e.g. Operating systems, language compilers and communications processors etc. Data structure is a primary factor that determines program performance.
Algorithms presented in the manual are in a form which is machine and language independent. The prerequisite for this course is a course in programming with experience using elementary features of C.
  12. Operating Systems Lab An operating system (OS) is the software component of a computer system that is responsible for the management and coordination of activities and the sharing of the resources of the computer. The OS acts as a host for application programs that are run on the machine. As a host, one of the purposes of an OS is to handle the details of the operation of the hardware.
