Gyan Sagar College of Engineering offers comprehensive hostel facilities within the COLLEGE campus. We understand that most of our students are moving away from home for the first time, so we strive to make the transition as smooth as possible by offering comfortable and safe hostels within the campus, providing a homely atmosphere.
Gyan Sagar College of Engineering offers separate magnificent hostels for boys and girls with hostel warden in each hostel to supervise day to day management. All the rooms have been designed to provide adequate moving space and ample air and light. Each hostel has its own mess providing hygienic and nutritious meals three times a day. The menu is designed to cater to a range of taste buds.
The COLLEGE makes the best possible efforts to provide the best of services and facilities within the hostels. To make the stay of the students a pleasant one they are constantly involved by organizing various events, activities and celebrations within the hostels. Various sports and cultural clubs have been made for the students to enhance their participation and knowledge. Also counselling facilities on personalised basis are provided.

Hostel Mess:
Hostel Mess is run by the Management through private contractor under the guidance of the Principal and Administrative officer. Vegetarian food is served in the hostel. Mess charges are collected on an annual basis at the time of admission. Parents and guests are allowed to consume food by paying for them.

Indoor Games and Common Rooms:
We have a well-appointed Indoor Games Hall where the students can come, relax and unwind after a day of hard work. Indoor games like Billiards, Table Tennis, and Carom Board etc are available. Students can watch their favorite TV Channels on numerous TVs with DTH connections which are available in all the hostels.
Power Back Up:
These is never a dark moment in GSCE!! The entire College campus is connected to two powerful automatic generators which provide instant power back up 24X7.
Convenience Stores:
To ensure that the students do not have to rush to the local market, all hostels have Convenience Stores and Tuck Shops. Apart from that, there is a well-stocked Stationery Shop with photocopying and colored printing facilities inside the campus.
Wi-Fi:
To ensure that the students are always connected to the outside world, students are provided Wi-Fi and internet facilities in all the hostels.
Security:
To ensure safety and security of the students, had deployed Security Guards around the clock in the hostels which is further beefed up with CCTV Cameras in all the hostels. Roll Calls are conducted on daily basis and proper procedure is followed for issuing of Out-Passes and allowing visitors to the hostels.
Open Air Amphitheater:
The hostel has an open air Amphitheater having a capacity of more than 500 where a vast variety of student activities are arranged. This integrates well with the landscaping is available within the campus.
Gymnasium:
Both the Boys and Girls Hostels have well equipped gymnasiums with services of a trainer are available for the students.
Rules and Regulations:
- Students must occupy the rooms allotted to them by the Warden (Principal).
- Students should refrain from anti-social and undesirable activities such as consumption of alcohol, tobacco, gambling, ragging etc.
- Students are responsible for the cleanliness of their rooms.
- No student will be allowed to leave the hostel based on a phone call.
- Parents are requested to give a list of authorized visitors/local guardians. Visitors not mentioned in the list will not be permitted to visit the students in the hostel.
- Students will be permitted to go home only if the college is closed continuously for five days or more.
- Any student wishing to attend a function in the house, marriage or any other ceremony will be permitted to go only if the request is made by the parents to the Principal.
- Visitors are allowed on holidays from 11.00 A.M. to 6.00 P.M.
