Head of Department
I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from a Government Engineering College and pursued my M.Tech from RGPV, Bhopal. Throughout my professional journey, I have worked on more than 30 research and technical UG projects and have published several research papers in both national and international journals. I am honored to welcome you to the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Gyan Sagar College of Engineering, Sagar. With over 13 years of academic and technical experience, I have dedicated myself to advancing engineering education, research, and student development. “Mechanical Engineering is the foundation of all innovations in design and technology. Our aim is to shape future engineers who not only master machines, but also create sustainable solutions for society.” Overview: The Mechanical Engineering Department at Gyan Sagar College of Engineering (GSCE), Sagar, Madhya Pradesh, is one of the core departments dedicated to producing highly skilled mechanical engineers. The department offers diploma and undergraduate (B.Tech.) courses in Mechanical Engineering. It focuses on both theoretical foundations and practical applications of mechanical systems. Key Features: Well-equipped labs for Thermal Engineering, Fluid Mechanics, Automobile Engineering, Strength of Materials, Refrigeration And Air Condition , Mechanical Vibration Engg, CAD/CAM/CFD, and Workshop Practice. Regular industrial visits, guest lectures, and hands-on training programs. Emphasis on skill development, research projects, and industry interaction. Placement support and career counseling for job readiness. Our curriculum blends theory with practical knowledge through workshops, industrial visits, project-based learning, and hands-on experiences. We also promote values like integrity, teamwork, and lifelong learning among our students. As the Head of Department, my vision is to build a community of confident, skilled, and socially responsible engineers who can contribute to nation-building and global development. Under my leadership, our department emphasizes a balance of theoretical knowledge, hands- on training, and innovation-driven research. Our goal is to prepare students for the competitive world through industry-oriented learning, mentorship, and ethical values. We are create engineers who are technically strong, socially responsible, and globally competent. I invite all aspiring students and collaborators to join us in this journey of academic excellence and innovation.
